Super League 2026 – Round 11 preview, predictions and tips
After the excitement of the Challenge Cup last weekend, it’s back to Super League action this week.
10 teams will be well rested, St Helens and Warrington will be aiming to bounce back from semi-final defeats, while Wigan and Hull KR have a Wembley date to look forward to in a couple of weeks’ time.
That will have to wait for now though, as the league gets back underway this Thursday in West Yorkshire. Huddersfield have their new coach announced, but he won’t be in the country until next week, so how will interim coach Liam Finn do this week?
*All odds are taken from Paddy Power and correct at time of writing on 13th May 2026.
- Thursday 14th May – Huddersfield Giants vs St Helens
- Friday 15th May – Wigan Warriors vs Leeds Rhinos
- Friday 15th May – Wakefield Trinity vs Catalans Dragons
- Saturday 16th May – York Knights vs Castleford Tigers
- Saturday 16th May – Leigh Leopards vs Hull KR
- Saturday 16th May – Toulouse Olympique vs Warrington Wolves
- Sunday 17th May – Bradford Bulls vs Hull FC
Thursday 14th May – Huddersfield Giants vs St Helens
Form guide
The Giants are on a three-game losing streak, which has seen them fall to rock bottom with just two wins from their opening 10 games.
Saints were hammered in last week’s Challenge Cup Semi-Final by Wigan, but they’re on a four-game winning run in Super League. They’re 2nd currently, and only behind Leeds on points difference.
Team news
Huddersfield have lost six players from the squad soundly beaten by Warrington two weeks ago. Adam Clune has been ruled out for at least 12 weeks, while Jacob Douglas has been recalled from his loan spell by St Helens. Tanguy Zenon, Kieran Rush, Archie Sykes and Connor Wrench also drop out. Lee Kershaw and Cole Geyer could make their debuts after arriving on loan, while Joe Greenwood and Matty English are back in contention after injuries. Logan Black, Lewis Jagger and Jack Billington also come into the squad.
St Helens have made three changes to the squad which lost to Wigan last week. Kyle Feldt and Curtis Sironen are back after a failed HIA and calf injury respectively, while youngster Alfie Sinclair also comes in. Matty Lees is likely to be out for the rest of the year after suffering a knee injury against Wigan, Noah Stephens failed his HIA last week, and Nene Macdonald also drops out.
My prediction – Huddersfield Giants 6-32 St Helens
Saints will be looking for a response after last week’s Challenge Cup mauling, and if there was a team they’d want to face this week it would be the struggling Giants.
Betting tips
There’s some good odds in the anytime try market here, so I’m backing whoever starts on the wings for Saints. Kyle Feldt is 4/5, Owen Dagnall is 11/10 and Lewis Murphy is 13/10. When the teams are announced, I’ll get on the two starters.
Friday 15th May – Wigan Warriors vs Leeds Rhinos
Form guide
Wigan are on a high after last week’s 32-0 win over St Helens, which saw them reach the Challenge Cup Final. The previous week they ended a four-game losing streak in Super League with victory over Bradford.
Meanwhile, Leeds are riding high at the top of Super League, and their 40-22 win over Wakefield last time out was their fifth victory in a row.
Team news
Wigan have made one change to the squad from last week, with Ethan Havard replacing Liam Farrell.
Leeds welcome Harry Newman, Riley Lumb and Tom Nicholson-Watton back from loan spells. Jack Bird and Ben Littlewood are ruled out through injury, while Ethan O’Neill has gone to Hull FC on loan.
My prediction – Wigan Warriors 20-18 Leeds Rhinos
This should be a cracker of a game, and it’s hard to separate these two. A couple of weeks ago I would have backed the Rhinos all day long, but after Wigan’s big win last week, they’ll come into this full of confidence and I can see them maybe just edging it.
Betting tips
This one should be very tight, so I’m backing Wigan to win by 1-7, which is 4/1. I’ll also get on a Jake Wardle anytime try when the market opens.
Friday 15th May – Wakefield Trinity vs Catalans Dragons
Form guide
After a five-game winning run in Super League, Wakefield have lost their last two, and went down 40-22 to Leeds in Round 10.
Catalans were beaten 33-18 by Leigh in their last outing, which has seen them fall to 8th.
Team news
Wakefield welcome back Seth Nikotemo, Jazz Tevaga and Isaiah Vagana this week.
Benjamin Garcia replaces Iszac Fa’asuamaleaui for the Dragons this week.
My prediction – Wakefield Trinity 20-12 Catalans Dragons
I can see Wakefield bouncing back from their recent defeats with a win here. Catalans don’t always travel well, they’re still without a permanent head coach and Trinity are welcoming back some big names this week.
Betting tips
I’m going for Wakefield to win by 8-14 in this one, which is 10/3. I’ll also get on Jake Trueman for an anytime try when the market opens.
Saturday 16th May – York Knights vs Castleford Tigers
Form guide
York were beaten 40-16 by St Helens in their last outing, having beaten Toulouse the previous week. They sit 10th with a 3-7 record.
After an impressive win at Wigan a few weeks ago, Castleford have conceded 100 points in their last two games, and their recent 50-6 loss to Hull KR sees them sitting in 13th.
Team news
Squads haven’t been announced yet, but York should have Jesse Dee and Matty Foster available after both failed HIAs against Saints.
George Lawler and George Hirst will be back for Castleford this week following suspension and concussion. There may be more changes following coach Ryan Carr’s damning comments after the defeat at Hull KR.
My prediction – York Knights 18-10 Castleford Tigers
This feels like a must-win game for Cas, but I can’t see them doing it. It could go either way, but I’m leaning towards the home side here.
Betting tips
Castleford are slight favourites, so I’m backing a York win at 1/1. I’ll also go for a David Nofoaluma anytime try when the market opens.
Saturday 16th May – Leigh Leopards vs Hull KR
Form guide
Leigh have won their last three in Super League to climb to 7th in the table. Their latest victory was a 33-18 win over Catalans Dragons.
Hull KR saw off Warrington last weekend to reach the Challenge Cup Final for a second-straight year. They’re on a five-game winning run in Super League too, which has seen them climb to 4th.
Team news
Squads haven’t been announced yet, with no news out of Leigh Leopards so far.
Hull KR will definitely be without James Batchelor, who’s been stood down due to concussion protocols.
My prediction – Leigh Leopards 12-26 Hull KR
I can’t see past the Robins in this one. They’ve clicked into gear after a slow start to the season and they’ll head into this one as favourites.
Betting tips
I’m happy with the -8 handicap for Hull KR, which is 11/10. They’re 10/11 in the half-time/full-time market, which looks a good price to me as well.
Saturday 16th May – Toulouse Olympique vs Warrington Wolves
Form guide
Toulouse picked up a magnificent 12-4 win at Hull FC last time out, which ended a run of seven straight defeats. It’s also seen them climb to 12th.
Warrington were beaten 32-12 by Hull KR in their Challenge Cup Semi-Final last week. They’ve won three of their last four though in Super League, which has them sitting in 3rd.
Team news
No news out of Toulouse Olympique so far this week.
Warrington could be without Jordy Crowther, who went off for a late HIA last week. The outcome wasn’t revealed at the time, so he may be ok.
My prediction – Toulouse Olympique 10-40 Warrington Wolves
I’m expecting a big reaction from the Wire after last week’s disappointing exit in the Challenge Cup. Against a newly-promoted side they should be winning this fairly comfortably.
Betting tips
Warrington have been given a -16 handicap, which I’m more than happy to get on at 10/11. I’ll also back Josh Thewlis for an anytime try when the market opens.
Sunday 17th May – Bradford Bulls vs Hull FC
Form guide
Bradford have lost five in a row, and their most recent outing was a 38-14 loss at Wigan. They’re 11th heading into this weekend.
Hull FC suffered a surprise 12-4 loss to Toulouse last time out. They’re 9th in the table with a 4-6 record.
Team news
Squads haven’t been announced yet, but Bradford will definitely be without Mitchell Soutar, who has picked up a two-match suspension.
Hull FC will be without Amir Bourouh, who’s also been suspended following the last round of matches.
My prediction – Bradford Bulls 18-26 Hull FC
I can see this one being quite close, but I’d expect the Black and Whites to just have a bit too much.
Betting tips
I’m going for Lewis Martin and Davy Litten to score anytime tries in this one. The market’s not open yet, so I’ll have to see how the odds look.
