Super League 2026 – Hull KR vs Warrington Wolves preview, predictions and tips
It’s not often we see a Tuesday night fixture in Super League, and rarer still that we have a Round Two fixture in mid-August, but what a treat it is this week.
Of course, the reason this week’s match couldn’t take place back in February was due to Hull KR’s involvement in the WCC. The Robins went on to win that match, 30-24, and claim the honour of being World Champions.
Plenty has happened since then, and after this game, there are just four matches of the regular season left. Here’s how I see this one panning out…
Form guide
Hull KR have found a bit of form in recent weeks, and come into this with four straight victories. Their latest was a 28-10 win over Catalans Dragons last Thursday, which has cemented them in 5th.
Warrington have also found some form recently, with three wins in a row to climb to 3rd. They’re just two points above the Robins, who’ll leapfrong them with a win.
These two sides met just last month, in Round 19, when the Wire came away with a very impressive 34-12 home win.
Team news
My prediction – Hull KR 18-12 Warrington Wolves
I’m hoping for a close game here between two sides with genuine Grand Final ambitions. They’re both in form and both look almost certain of a top six finish. It could go either way, but the Robins are at home and will be out for revenge after last month’s defeat, so I’m edging towards them.
Betting tips
I’m backing under 44.5 points in this one, which is 20/23. I’ll also back Joe Burgess for an anytime try when the market opens.
