Super League Play-offs 2026 – Week two preview, predictions and tips
We’re down to the final four in Super League, with Old Trafford just 80 minutes away. Leigh Leopards and Hull KR fell by the wayside last weekend, with Wakefield and Warrington making light work of them.
Now, there’s one more hurdle for those sides to overcome, as they do battle with Wigan and Leeds. These should be two absolute crackers, so let’s dive straight in…

Friday 25th September – Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves
Form guide
Leeds ended the season with back-to-back home defeats, which saw them finish four points shy of Wigan in the battle for the League Leaders’ Shield. Their 2nd-placed finish was sufficient to avoid a play-off game in week one though, so they should be well rested for this game.
After finishing 3rd, Warrington went straight into a play-off game with Hull KR last week. The Wire won 36-12 to progress, and go within 80 minutes of a fifth Grand Final.

My prediction – Leeds Rhinos 12-18 Warrington Wolves
I have a feeling Warrington will get the win here. Leeds have been out of sorts recently and Lachlan Miller and Ash Handley will be big losses for them. A week off might have done the Rhinos some good, but there’s a lot to be said for momentum, and the Wire are flying right now.
Betting tips
Leeds are favourites here, so I’m tipping Warrington to win, which is 6/4. I’ll also back Matty Ashton for an anytime try when the market opens.
Saturday 26th September – Wigan Warriors vs Wakefield Trinity
Form guide
Wigan’s 50-12 win over Catalans Dragons in Round 27 meant they finished the regular season with 15 straight victories and clinched the League Leaders’ Shield with a four-point cushion. That also gave them a week off last weekend.
Wakefield saw off Leigh Leopards in week one of the play-offs with a 26-16 victory. They also won their final three games of the regular season, and this week’s game will be their first ever semi-final in the Super League era.

My prediction – Wigan Warriors 30-10 Wakefield Trinity
I can’t see Wigan not winning this. They’ve won 16 games in a row (including the Challenge Cup Final), and they’ve got tonnes of big-game experience. Trinity have done brilliantly to get this far, but I think this is as far as they’ll get this year.

I’m happy to back Wigan with a -14 handicap, at 1/1. I’ll back Adam Keighran for an anytime try when the market opens as well.
