Super League 2026 – Round 3 preview, predictions and tips

Can you believe we’re into Round 3 already, and even the sunshine has put in an appearance this week. Before we know it, it’ll be Easter and the table will really start to take shape.

The pick of the games this week is of course Hull KR vs Leeds Rhinos, which is taking place in Las Vegas.

There’s plenty to look forward to back in the UK as well, plus an intriguing clash in the south of France. So without further ado…

*All odds are taken from Paddy Power and correct at time of writing on 24th February 2026.

Thursday 26th February – Wigan Warriors vs Leigh Leopards – Brick Community Stadium

Form guide

Wigan have started the year in ominous form for the rest of the competition, with their 34-6 win over Hull FC last week making it back-to-back wins in Super League.

Leigh, meanwhile, followed up an impressive Round One victory over Leeds with a narrow 20-18 loss to St Helens in week two.

Team news

Wigan have made just one change to the squad that beat Hull FC in Round Two. Lukas Mason comes into the 21 in place of Kian McDermott.

Ryan Brown replaces Aaron Pene in the only change to Leigh’s 21-man-squad from last week.

My prediction – Wigan Warriors 26-18 Leigh Leopards

Wigan have started the season in fine form, but this is likely to be thier toughest test so far. Even so, I think the Warriors will have a bit too much for their near neighbours.

Betting tips

With the form he’s been in, I can’t ignore Zach Eckersley in the anytime tryscorer market when it opens. I think 4/6 on Wigan in the half-time/full-time market looks pretty good too.

Friday 27th February – Castleford Tigers vs Huddersfield Giants – OneBore Stadium

Form guide

Cas have had a tough start to the year with losses in both of their opening two games. Last week they were beaten 24-12 by newly-promoted Toulouse after a 26-16 loss at home to Wigan in Round One.

The Giants have also lost 2/2. They were narrowly beaten 18-16 by Wakefield last week after a 26-10 loss to Catalans in Round One.

Team news

Squads haven’t been announced yet, but the Tigers will be hopeful of welcoming back Semi Valemei and Zac Cini, with both players being monitored week-to-week.

Zac Cini could be a late call-up for Cas this week.

Huddersfield are really suffering again this year, with Adam Swift, Niall Evalds, Joe Greenwood and Harry Rushton all missing for at least the next five weeks. Sam Hewitt is banned this week too.

Sam Hewitt is suspended this week for Huddersfield.

My prediction – Castleford Tigers 20-12 Huddersfield Giants

This already feels like a huge game between two winless sides who are likely to be scrapping near the bottom of the table all season. I’m tipping the Tigers this week though. Huddersfield’s injuries are mounting and I’ve seen glimpses from Cas that they’re better than their two losses suggest.

Betting tips

Castleford are just 1/3, which seems remarkably generous. I’m getting on them to win by 9-14 points at 10/3. And although he let me down last week, I’m backing Mikaele Ravalawa in the anytime try market again.

Friday 27th February – Hull FC vs York Knights – MKM Stadium

Form guide

The Black and Whites are 1-1 so far, with their home win over Bradford followed by a heavy 34-6 loss at Wigan last weekend.

The Knights are 1-1 as well. They followed up their shock opening round win over Hull KR with a 46-14 loss at Leeds last weekend.

Team news

Again, squads haven’t been announced yet, but Hull FC will definitely be without Will Pryce, who has been ruled out for the season with an ACL injury.

For York, Jesse Dee missed out through injury last week and Sam Wood suffered a knock. Both are 50/50 top be available this week.

Sam Wood picked up a knock last week, but managed to finish the game for York.

My prediction – Hull FC 30-10 York Knights

Despite the loss of Will Pryce, I’m backing Hull FC to bounce back with a win this week. They won’t have it all their own way, but they should have too much Super League know-how for the Knights.

Betting tips

Hull FC should be safe with a -14 handicap at 10/11. I’ll also be backing Lewis Martin for an anytime try when the market opens.

Saturday 28th February – Warrington Wolves vs Wakefield Trinity – Halliwell Jones Stadium

Form guide

Warrington had a week off in Round Two thanks to Hull KR’s WCC exploits. They were very impressive in Round One though, when they saw off St Helens 24-14.

Wakefield are 1-1, meanwhile. A surprise loss to Toulouse on the opening weekend was followed by a narrow win over Huddersfield last weekend.

Team news

Warrington are likely to be unchanged from Round One, although James Bentley could make his return from injury.

James Bentley could make his league debut for Warrington this week.

Mason Lino and Caius Faatili missed last week’s Wakefield game. Lino is unlikely to be available this week, with Faatili the more likely of the two to return.

Caius Faatili could return this week for Wakefield.

My prediction – Warrington Wolves 30-14 Wakefield Trinity

I was really impressed with Warrington in Round One, and I’d expect them to pick up where they left off this week.

Betting tips

I’m jumping straight on Warrington in the handicap market at 10/11 with a -10 start. I’ll also be backing Cai Taylor-Wray for an anytime try after his superb display in Round One.

Saturday 28th February – Catalans Dragons vs St Helens – Stade Gilbert Brutus

Form guide

It’s 1-1 for the Dragons so far, after they followed up an impressive win against Huddersfield with a poor display against Bradford last weekend.

Saints are also 1-1. They bounced back from a loss at Warrington in Round One to squeeze past Leigh last weekend.

Team news

The Dragons could hand a debut to new signing Matty Russell, who arrived from Oldham this week.

For Saints, Jonny Lomax has been ruled out for a number of weeks and joins Matty Lees and Jack Welsby in the treatment room. Nene McDonald left the field early last week and looks doubtful for this week.

My prediction – Catalans Dragons 22-14 St Helens

I think Saints’ injury blows could be too much to handle this week, especially away. The Dragons aren’t the best travellers, but at home I’m expecting them to win more than they lose.

Betting tips

Catalans are 10/11 with a -4 handicap, which should be ok. I like the look of them in the half-time/full-time market at 1/1 as well.

Sunday 1st March – Hull KR vs Leeds Rhinos – Allegiant Stadium

Form guide

Hull KR are on top of the world after last week’s 30-24 win over Brisbane Broncos in the World Club Challenge. The Robins hold all four trophies now, but they’re 0-1 in Super League after a surpise loss to York in Round One.

The Rhinos were beaten at Leigh in Round One, before a 46-14 win over York last weekend.

Team news

Arthur Mourgue will definitely be out for the Robins after suffering a pectoral injury against Brisbane last week. Dean Hadley is touch-and-go. He suffered a fractured eye socket in that game, but could still play this week in Vegas.

Hull KR head to Las Vegas this week as World Champions after last week’s win over Brisbane Broncos.

Leeds are unlikely to make any changes from last week’s win over York, although Ash Handley has travelled and could be in line for his first appearance of the season.

My prediction – Hull KR 42-26 Leeds Rhinos

If last year’s Vegas game is anything to go by, both teams will be keen to put on a show in the entertainment capital of the world. I can’t see past the Robins for the win though. They’ll be full of confidence after becoming World Champions, and their Round One loss to York should just be a blip.

Betting tips

I’m getting on Hull KR with a -8 handicap at 1/1. I’ll also be backing Joe Burgess for an anytime try when the market opens.

Sunday 1st March – Bradford Bulls vs Toulouse Olympique – Bartercard Odsal Stadium

Form guide

The Bulls are 1-1 since their return to Super League. A narrow loss at Hull was followed by a brilliant 28-10 win over Catalans Dragons last weekend.

Toulouse have been Super League’s surprise package so far. Alongside Wigan, they’re the only team to have won their opening two games. A win at Wakefield on the opening weekend was followed by a 24-12 home victory over Castleford last week.

Team news

Joe Keyes missed out for Bradford last weekend with a back pain, but he’s a chance of returning this week. Jayden Okunbor and Dan Russell are likely to be out for around three months.

Joe Keyes could return this wek for Bradford.

For Toulouse, Romeo Tropis failed his HIA in the win over Castleford, so he’ll definitely be out this week.

Romeo Tropis will be out this week for Olympique.

My prediction – Bradford Bulls 12-16 Toulouse Olympique

I have a sneaky feeling that Toulouse will continue their impressive start this week. This game really could go either way, but the French side have some momentum to build on, and they’ll fabcy their chances against another newly-promoted team.

Betting tips

Bradford have been given a -8 handicap, so I’m getting straight on Toulouse at 2/1 for the win. I think this will be a tight contest, so Bradford/Toulouse in the half-time full-time market looks good at 9/1.
