Super League 2026 – Round 15 preview, predictions and tips

Another round of Super League’s here already, and Magic Weekend’s now right around the corner. It’s frightening how quick the season goes, but hopefully that’s a sign of how much I’m enjoying it.

Admittedly, not every game looks great on paper, but this weekend’s round is starting with a blockbuster…

Thursday 18th June – Warrington Wolves vs Leeds Rhinos

Form guide

Warrington’s 18-6 win at St Helens last week made it six straight wins, and leaves the Wire 2nd on points difference.

Leeds Rhinos are the team above them, and their 48-24 win at Toulouse was a third straight victory since losing to Wigan a month ago.

Team news

Arron Lindop makes his return from an ACL injury for Warrington, while Cai Taylor-Wray and Adam Holroyd are also back. Zack Gardner drops out after picking up a shoulder injury at St Helens, and he’s out for the rest of the season.

Warrington Wolves squad: Matty Ashton, James Bentley, Liam Byrne, Jordy Crowther, Ben Currie, James Harrison, Leon Hayes, Adam Holroyd, Albert Hopoate, Ewan Irwin, Arron Lindop, Sam Powell, Toff Sipley, Josh Smith, Marc Sneyd, Kelepi Tanginoa, Cai Taylor-Wray, Josh Thewlis, Luke Thomas, Danny Walker, Lachlan Webster.

Leeds Rhinos make one change to their squad. Lachie Miller returns from suspension, with Riley Lumb dropping out.

Leeds Rhinos squad:  Lachie Miller, Maika Sivo, Harry Newman, Ash Handley, Ryan Hall, Brodie Croft, Jake Connor, Mikolaj Oledzki, Jarrod O’Connor, Tom Holroyd, Kallum Watkins, James McDonnell, Keenan Palasia, Chris Hankinson, Cooper Jenkins, Cameron Smith, Presley Cassell, Riley Lumb, Danny Levi, Tom Nicholson-Watton, Fergie McCormack, Jack Bird

My prediction – Warrington Wolves 18-12 Leeds Rhinos

I just fancy the home side in this one. Although these two sides are neck and neck at the top of the table, the Wire have been a bit more convincing in their recent performances.

Betting tips

I’ll back Warrington to win at 4/5. Maika Sivo’s odds of 10/11 for an anytime try are far too good to turn down as well.

Friday 19th June – Hull KR vs Leigh Leopards

Form guide

Hull KR bounced back from defeat at Wakefield two weeks ago to beat York, 38-6, last weekend. They’ve climbed to 3rd with that win.

Leigh remain in 7th, just two points off the play-offs, after beating Bradford 38-12 last week. It was a third-straight victory for the Leopards.

Team news

Hull KR have Sauaso Sue back from suspension. He comes in for Oliver Gildart, who failed his HIA last week.

Hull KR squad: Tom Davies, Peta Hiku, Joe Burgess, Mikey Lewis, Tyrone May, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Tom Amone, Dean Hadley, James Batchelor, Elliot Minchella, Jack Broadbent, Sam Luckley, Jai Whitbread, Rhyse Martin, Karl Lawton, Jordan Dezaria, Noah Booth, Bill Leyland, Ryan Hampshire, Tevita Pangai Jr

Jack Hughes drops out of the Leigh squad through suspension, so they’ve named just 20 players this week.

Leigh Leopards squad: David Armstrong, Tesi Niu, Umyla Hanley, Josh Charnley, Adam Cook, Lachlan Lam, Joe Ofahengaue, Edwin Ipape, Robbie Mulhern, Frankie Halton, Isaac Liu, Aaron Pene, Jacob Alick-Wiencke, Matt Davis, Liam Horne, Bailey Hodgson, Innes Senior, Gareth O’Brien, Louis Brogan, Ryan Brown

My prediction – Hull KR 22-14 Leigh Leopards

This could be a real tight one, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see Leigh get a win here. That said, the Robins will be favourites, and if they play how they can, they should have enough to get the job done.

Betting tips

I’m not convinced by the -10 handicap here, so instead I’m backing Hull KR to win by 8-14 points, which is 10/3. I’ll also back Joe Burgess for an anytime try when the market opens.

Friday 19th June – Hull FC vs Wakefield Trinity

Form guide

Hull FC ended a run of four straight defeats with a 36-12 win over a dismal Huddersfield side last week. The Black and Whites sit in 9th, with little prospect of making the play-offs.

Wakefield were humbled at home, 48-10, by Wigan. That ended a run of three straight wins for Trinity, who have dropped to 5th.

Team news

Davy Litten and Lewis Martin are back for Hull FC this week. They come in for Ben Johnson and Lennon Clark.

Hull FC squad: Harvey Barron, Davy Litten, Lewis Martin, Jake Arthur, Aidan Sezer, Herman Ese’ese, Amir Bourouh, Harvie Hill, Joe Batchelor, Jed Cartwright, Tom Briscoe, Logan Moy, Matty Laidlaw, Hugo Salabio, Callum Kemp, Will Hutchinson, Will Kirby, Lloyd Kemp, Jeremiah Mata’utia, Ethan O’Neill, Max Wood

Wakefield have made two changes to their squad as well. Jazz Tevaga returns from suspension and Kian McGann comes Jayden Myers and Oliver Pratt drop out of the 21.

Wakefield Trinity squad: Max Jowitt, Cam Scott, Tom Johnstone, Jake Trueman, Mike McMeeken, Tyson Smoothy, Ky Rodwell, Seth Nikotemo, Matty Storton, Jazz Tevaga, Jay Pitts, Caleb Hamlin-Uele, Caius Faatili, Harvey Smith, Isaiah Vagana, Jack Sinfield, Josh Rourke, Tray Lolesio, Kian McGann, Will Tate, Charlie Abraham

My prediction – Hull FC 12-26 Wakefield Trinity

Wakefield should bounce back in this one. The Black and Whites have been inconsistent at best, and I get the feeling they already have one eye on next season. If Trinity are serious about challenging at the business end of the year, they should be licking their lips at this game.

Betting tips

Wakefield have been given just a -2 handicap, which I’m happy to get straight on. I’m also backing them in the 1st half match betting, at 5/6.

Saturday 20th June – York Knights vs Wigan Warriors

Form guide

The Knights were beaten 38-6 by Hull KR last week, which was their fifth defeat in a row. They remain down in 13th.

Wigan have hit top form recently, and their 48-10 win over Wakefield last week lifted them to 4th. It was a fourth win in five in Super League.

Team news

Squads haven’t been announced yet, but York Knights will have Lalotoa Mata’afa and King Vuniyayawa available after they escaped with fines this week at the disciplinary. One man who definitely won’t be available is Danny Richardson, after he moved to Widnes earlier this week.

Wigan prop Ethan Havard broke his jaw in the win over Wakefield, so he’ll be out this week. Sam Walters is also still missing through suspension.

My prediction – York Knights 6-42 Wigan Warriors

This should be as routine as it gets for Wigan, who have been flying recently. York might cause more problems than I expect, but certainly not enough to get the win. If they do, it’ll be one of the biggest shocks in Super League history.

Betting tips

There’s not loads of value in this one at the moment, and while Wigan’s -30 handicap should be fine, it’s still a lot to ask in a regular league fixture. Instead, I’ll be backing Zach Eckersley and Junior Nsemba for anytime tries when the market opens. Nsemba should be much better value than Eckersley, who’ll probably be odds on.

Saturday 20th June – Catalans Dragons vs Bradford Bulls

Form guide

The Dragons bounced back from defeat in Paris two weeks ago to beat Castleford 34-28 last weekend. They remain 8th – four points outside the play-off spots.

Bradford were well beaten at home by Leigh in a 38-12 loss, and they remain in 10th.

Team news

Again, it’s too early for official squad news, but the Dragons will have Guillermo Aispuro-Bichet available after the fullback escaped further disciplinary action for a late shot. Edenn Rogers-Smith could make his debut after arriving from Carcassonne.

Bradford lost Eribe Doro to an automatic HIA fail last week because he wasn’t wearing an instrumented mouthguard. Dan Russell and Caleb Aekins both picked up injuries too, so they’re doubtful for this week.

My prediction – Catalans Dragons 24-14 Bradford Bulls

I can see the Dragons making it back-to-back wins here against a Bulls side racked by injuries and still finding their feet back in Super League.

Betting tips

There aren’t many markets open yet, so I’ll be backing Solomona Faataape and Guillermo Aispuro-Bichet for anytime tries when the market opens.

Saturday 20th June – Castleford Tigers vs Toulouse Olympique

Form guide

The Tigers lost a tight game with the Dragons last week, going down 34-28 in Perpignan. They remain 11th in the table.

Toulouse started to mount an impressive comeback against Leeds before the Rhinos pulled away for a 48-24 win. Olympique remain 12th.

Team news

Squads haven’t been named yet, but Castleford will have Tyler Dupree available after he escaped a ban. Mikaele Ravalawa will be absent again with a knee injury though, as confirmed earlier this week by coach Ryan Carr.

Toulouse had Henry O’Kane stretchered off last weekend, so a return this week looks a real long shot.

My prediction – Castleford Tigers 30-18 Toulouse Olympique

Cas have picked up in recent weeks and this is a game they’ll be expecting to win. Toulouse have been no pushovers on their return to Super League, but I can’t see them winnig here.

Betting tips

I’m going for Castleford to win by 8-14 points, which is 10/3. I’ll also back Jason Qareqare to celebrate his new contract with an anytime try when the market opens.

Sunday 21st June – St Helens vs Huddersfield Giants

Form guide

St Helens have wobbled recently, and their 18-6 home loss against Warrington ;ast week was their third defeat in a row. They’ve dropped down to 6th.

Huddersfield remain rock bottom after an awful performance in a 36-12 loss at Hull FC last week. It was a seventh defeat in a row for the Giants, who have just two wins from 14 games.

Team news

St Helens’ Jonny Lomax broke his jaw last week, so his season could well be over. In better news for Saints, Matt Whitley and Joe Shorrocks escaped bans at the disciplinary.

Huddersfield lost Joe Greenwood to an achilles injury last week, so he’s unlikely to be back for this one either.

My prediction – St Helens 36-6 Huddersfield Giants

Although Saints have been struggling a bit, they couldn’t have handpicked a better fixture to get back on track. The Giants have been woeful, and this should be a Sunday afternoon stroll.

Betting tips

I’m going to go with the -20 handicap for St Helens here, which is 10/11. I’ll also back Lewis Murphy for an anytime try when the market opens.
